Creating the branding for the first global hackathon at the University of Waterloo for gender minorities.

THE BRAND

TechNova is working towards cultivating a gender equitable future for underrepresented gender communities in technology by balancing the playing field through offering opportunities and creating a safe, diverse, and inclusive community and resources for support. The main goal behind their inaugural event (TechNova’s Hack with Us) is to prepare people from underrepresented gender communities for careers in tech by creating a safe community to empower them and encourage learning and innovation.

  • Spearheaded the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns and outreach initiatives that resulted in the acquisition of 15 sponsors and 600+ applicants from 30+ countries
